I asked my local shop today if he could even order it, and he said it wasn't available through any of his distros.

Same here. I ordered it myself.

I was hoping to piggyback on one of his orders and avoid the hazmat fee. Oh well, I have enough for this year already; maybe it will be more readily available next year.

Your best bet is to find a dealler that buys directly from Western Powders. I am forunate that my local dealer does order from them so i do exactly what you are indicating... everytime he orders from them he has a standing order from me to but two jugs of BH...

He resales them to me for $28.99 per jug....

The downside he can only order from them when he has an order of $1200.00 or more...

Can he get any of the Accurate powders? If so then there is no reason he couldn't get the Blackhorn 209
