I have found a new love of squirrel hunting. This came about when one day this fall I went deer hunting, and saw no deer. But I mentioned to my wife that I could have filled the bed of my truck with squirrels, she said then why don't you hunt squirrels?
A bell went off!
Lots of targets, no dragging involved, no competition, longer season, and a great way to take my grandsons hunting.
I have a super accurate .40 percussion rifle that will get a workout.
Squirrel taco's anyone!

I am 75 soon to be 76, have had my share of health problems. Had both knees and a shoulder replaced last year. I am not giving up hunting, just slowing down some. I did manage to hang three treestands and shoot a couple of whitetail deer this season. So hang in there and do what you can, it is not over yet.
