Comfortable? :scratch: If you wear 2 pairs of socks, perhaps. Dry feet are more comfortable than wet ones. (Buy one size larger than your shoe size.)

They're LaCrosse Granger boots - no insulation. The LaCrosse Burly model has varying amounts of insulation for cold areas.

 I don't go anywhere without these on. One pair lasts me about 2 1/2 years.

Those are nice boots.  Got to get a pair.   Our deer lease is wetland; mudland after the recent rains. 

Know a couple rattlesnake catchers who wear tall rubber boots with padding between their legs and the boot.  They say it stops bites from big diamond backs.
