Smokeless Muzzleloader Build

I'm if SE Virginia. I haven't been able to locate any IMR 4198.

The Paramount should make a great build also. Are you getting the barreled action with a CVA Paramount barrel? Will you be using smokeless? The CVA Paramounts are very nice looking muzzleloaders.

Woodman arms is putting a mcgowan 45 cal 18 on it. Smokeless or bh209 depending on what state i hunt in. I picked the paramount because i am hoping to stick with 209 primers and did not want to have to dig them out from deep in the 700 receiver. A little worried about the spring in the bolt but there is always plan b.

LOL................... They whopped up on us 45's last fall. Took honors at Friendship last fall too.
I'm to damn old to build another rifle. Besides, I have a fortune wrapped up in 45cal bullets.

You could send those 45 bullets to happy recipients and buy 40s. I know someone personally that would be glad to use them up for you!
