Painted Bobcat stock

I decided to try and paint the black plastic stock on my Bobcat to look like wood grain. Still need to wait over the weekend for it to total dry and then I'll put a couple coats of clear satin spray paint on it and then finish by rubbing it down with brown paste shoe polish

Petty cool. How did you get the woodgrain look? I have a couple of black Bobcat stocks lying around.
My wife would have my as- if I hung that on a curtain rod!!!

Well done! That looks very nice. What paint did you use? I know that plastic doesn't usually take paint well.

I used Krylon Fusion. It's made to work on plastic
