:D 1640,i will be going against the tide here alittle(guy's don't burn me  ).i bought a pro hunter frame($400) then a .45 28 twist barrel for it and it shoot's great.now is not as lite as the nula but it's not as bad as the savage and it is a very simple design.for around $800 you can put it together and still have $500 left for a nice scope.jmo

I drifted with the Pro Hunter tide too. Had 2 10 ML-II's (factory & a Henry Ball) plus considered the NULA...so I have a lil xperience with smoleless & what it can do. Money wasnt a factor...just my personal preference. The Pro Hunter is a great shooter & with all the improvements over the Encore it does all i expect out of an in-line muzzleloader. Guns are sorta like women..what some see as a value in one may mean little to another.
