Hello all,

New to inline muzzleloaders and hunting and purchased a cva 45 accura for late deer season. Unfortunately didn’t do enough research on this gun because it seems the bore is oversized and designed for the power belt bullets which typically run 2.00+ per round + tax. Out of curiosity I took one of my buddies 50 cal bullets which is a .452 300gr in sabot and pushed it down my bore with some resistance. After a good cleaning it will fall through under weight of ramrod. Wondering if there are decent loads other than the power belt and maybe any tried a true way to load a bored sized jacked bullet? Maybe a patch? Doing so would open me up to a large variety of .452, 0.451 bullets.

Inputs appreciated

Spoke to dennis at fury bullets this morning I explained about he oversized bore on CVA 45 caliber Accura rifles he said he could knurl a .403 bullets as high as .405 He is sending me some samples to try
