Our property in Garvin county is outside the wheat growing area. Grow some green stuff in the fall/winter and the deer will be there.
This plot was seeded in mid September with barley and wheat. The plot did not grow until a rain in late October. After a more recent rain the plot is growing well. The deer have begun to graze the plot.
This plot was seeded with wheat, barley and oats in early October . It too began growing after the recent rains. Deer are hitting this plot too:
Planted a new plot in wheat yesterday.
