Omega Cleaning

After rain and snow on the first day of Pa. buck season, I took my Omega apart for the first time completely. After cleaning I put the barrel back in the stock. Put in the screws for the recoil lugs and the bottom does not line up with the recoil lug?? I didn't force the screw any. Pulled the stock off and tried the screw in the lug, It starts crooked the threads don't look cross threaded. It's a syn. stock also does any one know what thread size the lug screws are?

My friends did the same thing. Either the screw or the lug is cross threaded. Try a new screw. If that dosent work try a tap on the lug. The lug is removable so you can replace it if you need to. TC may even send you a new lug and screw if you call them.
