I noticed no brake, why I asked

Yeah the brake would have really helped with those bigger bullets. I’ll put one on next time out to see.

Working with the Brux-barreled Omega again today. Shot about 20 sized 327 gr Parker Black Max with 56-59 gr IMR 4198. The 59 gr is looking promising. Also shot a few 300 gr Ballistic Extremes and some Fury 225 gr in HLBS. Both shot great.

I'm flirting with that kinda accuracy in the 16 twist.
I'm still learning to shoot these sledge hammers....
I shot little setting hammers for so long it's jaw dropping every time I pull the trigger.
I giggle a little

Put Woodman’s tac brake back on my Brux Omega today and shot a few Parker 327 gr Black Max and some Northern Precision 270 gr pin points with IMR 4198. The brake really reduces the recoil and muzzle jump. Everything Mark makes is top notch. And the groups were not too shabby!

Yes, I quickly discovered that and added some traction tape. I’ll recommend that the machinist knurl them in the future.

Yes I didn’t know he had cleaning tubes. Don’t know thread size? I wish he had them on website make it easier, tried calling didn’t connect, he must be real busy
