What black powder pistol ?

Okay, I am new to this game. What black powder pistol should I purchase, Uberti or Piettia, and what model?
I am looking at this one.

I prefer the 1858 vs open top

If you dont care about originality you can find them in .36 (cheap to shoot) and/or with adjustable target sights

A Ruger Old Army should be in the running too, depending on your wallet ...

Colt is open, Remington has top strap as closed. They can have usable sights. I own a Uberti. Never owned any other, short of funding most of the time.

ORA has strap & certainly is a very nice model. I have shot mine so much i know how to aim & hit a playing card at 35-40 yards.
