TK2000 Target results Feb 14,2024

I was dialing in a TK “ Turkey Killer” on Valentine’s day. ( I luv em )
Originally I started sometime back w 1-7/8 oz loads.TSS#9
Have now lowered to 1-1/2 oz. #9
The targets attached are 1-5/8 oz #9 TSS 18gm.
I centered the orange bull target behind the turkey head target. Keeping centers aligned.
In able to get the 10” ring pellet count on the orange one.
Distance was 40 yards.
Loads:
90 gr vol Black MZ, ( I found it performed best and I have a lot of it)
Wonder Wool lubed wad OP
BPI TPS46 w 3/8” 20 ga cork fillers.
1-5/8 oz #9TSS 18gm/cc
12 gr weighed buffer #47 or BSB . I use BPI buffer.
Card OSC
Except the close one. #6 HW at 12 yds.
First pic #9 at 40.
Second #6 at 12
Third #9 @40 target overlay
Fourth #9@40 dead turkey
Fifth #9@40 circle count.

I want to give thanks to those at my range that only put one to three holes in the action result targets then trash them. Saves my wallet. LOL

I forgot to add. AVG Velocity 1059 fps. SD 21. 5 shots.

That's a turkey killing pattern for sure,I plan on going out next weekend and shooting mine, I've never tried a cushion over powder and under plastic wad but might have to give it a try after seeing you results, thanks for the recipe
