So this evening the wife, kids, and I went over to HJBUYS house to hang out and eat dessert. Our kids always play well and we always enjoy the company of eachother. The night was going great, kids were happy playing with their friends outside, HJ and I were chatting about stuff, and the wives were enjoying the new baby boy they had earlier this week.

As we were about to leave, HJ and his wife siad they had something for us. They bring out a large box for my wife and a small bag for me and tell us to open them. I can see sticking out of my bag box that says Leupold on it. I am hesitant at first, but dive right in. HJ and his wife had gotten me a new Leupold Ultimate Slam 3x9 in Silver to match my Triumph with weathersheild. What a sweet looking set up this will be. My wife opened her gift and they got her a new food dehydrator (and a very nice one at that). We were shocked and still are about the gifts. We feel undeserving.

I want to further add that I/we are very grateful for our friendships with HJ and family. We couldnt ask for better friends and neighbors. When I would listen to my dad and grandad talk about the good ole days and how people used to treat each other, I now have a better understanding on the way it used to be.

I will post pictures of the new set up of the ultimate slam on my triumph as soon as I send it it to get repaired.

Thanks again!

Enjoy !!

Giving is more fun than receiving so i bet it made their day !!!!
You guys must also be some really good people .

Nice to hear. :D :D

taylorhaught... that Leupold Ultimate Slam is supposed to be a great scope. I am sure it will be a great addition to your Triumph. And I am sure your wife will get a lot of use out of a food dehydrator.

And your right about one thing.. the sincere act of kindness on the part of your friends is the best gift of the evening. Always treasure the kindness and company of good friends. While getting a scope like that is a wonderful thing, knowing you have those special kind of friends overshadows the gifts a hundred fold. You and your family are indeed blessed.

I had a box of 300 grain XTPs show up at my door from Cabela's . For the life of me i could not remember ordering them .I thought i was having a senior moment . Then i looked at the invoice and it said "' thanks for helping me get the Triumph for my dad ,HJBUYS'' . Boy i did not expect that but am very grateful , the XTP bullets are very hard to find . All i did was drive a mile to Wal mart see if the gun was there and drive home . cost me 15 min max .

HJBUYS ROCKS

THANKS MAN !!!!!!! :D :D :D

Nice gift from some very nice people. To some people friendship and family are worth more then money. This is evidently the case here.

That was awefully nice of them. It's great to have friends like that. :D
