It's going to be legal July 1st stupid city council On-site cannabis consumption license ban moves forward in Ocean City - 47abc it's going

A while back, the citizens of Oklahoma voted down a similar measure to legalize recreational Marijuana use.
I voted NO.

Why I'm just curious

I live in a small town and there are 5 Marijuana dispensaries here for medical Marijuana. I could just imagine how much more shops open if pot was legalized. I'm not against smoking pot per se for medical reasons because I know that there are benefits for people doing so.
Having it legal for everyone? I don't know, maybe I'm just too old school. I just don't see it as a good way.

Well first let me say your entitled to your option...I can't believe there's that many in a smaller town but where I used to live had. Big legal grow operation created alotta jobs just saying

It ain't all about money my man. Ocean City is a place where people have been taking their kids/family to vacation for generations. Kudos to them for the ban.

Since legalization in OR local govt seems to over compensate to cover the negative effects as they get so much revenue from sales. Any actions to repeal the law are met with vicious, almost irrational, ridicule and name calling.
