fury .50 Universal Fit ???

probally not .... but i figgured i'd ask .
does the fury universal fit with the disc base on the bottom cut fouling like the FG one on the federal trophy ?



i'm guessing it's just a plastic/polymer disc with no FG to give it enough rigidity to cut fouling from 777 etc. .

The poly base on those Fury universals are pretty tough. I wouldn’t be surprised if they do cut the fouling. I haven’t used them with 777, only BH but I certainly think that they would cut the fouling.

Yes indeed. I have roughly four pounds of BH. I don't have near as much trouble getting the breach plug out with BH. The only thing I like about T7 is the easy cleanup. All things considered BH is superior as far as Shooting goes. To bad the price.

I have used the Fury 275 and 110 gW of BH209 in RUM 50. NICE tight groups. It has a 1-26" twist

i've got a smokeless being made but i have a few lbs of 777 fff . if i can find some decent prices locally to avoid hazmat (or catch the natchez special) on n120 or 4198 i will get a few lbs and keep some of the 777 just in case .

I think anyone looking to get a new muzzy would be wise to give serious thought to going smokeless. That's certainly my intention.

I’ll add to that:

With a smokeless-capable rifle you can shoot any of the subs as well. Best of both worlds!

But it is really hard to go back…..

I tried some of these in one of my guns(don't remember which one) and got a real nice key hole.

I got two almost touching at 100 yards, then a real nice keyhole on the third? Shot a few more and accuracy was poor, so I’m done with those.
