I'm not sure how CVA measures the barrel. Did you include the breech plug?

CVA doesn't measure it that way. Measure the outside. You have a CVA version of a 27" barrel.

No, but the breech plug sticks into the barrel. That makes it shorter when you measure it with a dowel.

It's actually shorter than you think, because you can't measure the QLA as part of the bore. That's muzzleloaders for you.

Think how short the MR is.

I'm not sure what that little MR is on the barrel, but the real MR looks different than that.
