In a .358 caliber 225gn spire point rifle bullet, what would be the minimum velocity needed to stabilize it. Using that fps, plus 100 to 200 fps as a ceiling, what bullet would give the best terminal performance?

Thanks,

What are you trying to do? I personally like Sierra 225's. They are very accurate in all my .358's and Whelan 7600. I'm always working towards max velocity not min. I have yet to kill anything with the Nosler BT 225 but I'm sure they would be awesome. To me, best terminal performance is entrance and exit holes, not sure what suits your fancy. What gun are you working with?
