Well, to much idle time on my hands today.

I decided to try another conversion, since I have several Knight Power Stem Breech Plugs.

I have to give Spitpatch creadit for first suggesting the 'Flash Channel Volume' theory to me and more ar less verified by Busta's thoughts.

This drawing should show what I am trying to sugggest when it comes to the volume of the 'flash Channel'

Further Busta has suggested the vent liner installed as far forward in the breech plug might also be an asset. With this information and the fact that I really do prefer the FPJ system to the NFPJ system, I decided to use a Knight Power Stem to accomplish this conversion using the thoughts originally expressed by Spit and Busta, actually the my thoughts and I believe Spits thoughts came about because of the new Knigh Vision NPFJ plug that is very clean.

Anyway headed to the shop with Power Stem in hand... You would not recognize it when it came back in the house....

Now I need some time to test it...

That turned it essentially into the domed style face with a vent liner. Hasn't the domed style face been proven to be finicky especially with BH209?

Yes, that is pretty much what it did do. But with the vent liner installed it has changed the size of the flash Hole and even the size of the flash channel... shooting BH will not be a problem.
