being that tomorrow is my bday and the whole nation is being forced to celebrate it, my lovely wife decided to have a fathers day/birthday party with my family, sister, cousins and our daughter.
some years ago my best friend past away. he bequeathed his guns to me. one gun he gave me prior to passing was the stevens favorite he used as a kid in the 1915-20 era to feed his family.
After he passed my sister was bemoaning the fact that she had nothing to remember Dick with.
i gave her the Favorite. today she gifted it back. ever see an old man cry?
