So today I took out my Knight Peregrine to shoot over the chrono.
I used 250 gr. Fury bullets and I had charges from 130-160/ by volume although I did weigh the charges but didn't include the #'S for them here, just volume of Blackhorn 209 with a Fed 209a primer
130 gr charge average was 2494 f.p.s
143.5 gr charge was 2636 f.p.s
150 gr. charge was 2669 f.p.s
and the 160 gr. charge clocked in at 2710 f.p.s
the averages were 3 shot groups shot over a Pact Professional Chronograph
also the 160 gr charge was the most accurate
At 2600 +/- with a 8" kill zone my maximum point blank range is 282 yds. and the max. point blank zero is 241 yds
that is sighted in at 3.7" at 100 yds.
