This is a brand new scope I mounted on my Accura & found that the reticle is too fine for my eyes to see in low light. So I removed it & put it back in the box.
The glass is excellent, the reticle is awesome.
This is a great deal on a very nice scope.

What a pity Meopta aint Meopta any more. Mine came on my 1950 8X57 JS.BRNO. Single pointed toped post with horizontal line. I00, 200 & 300 Mtr settings. Very Plaim. Can only suppose it is "X" WW11 sniper scope. Zeiss made Meopta in Checo in 30s up to '45..They used to have a very good apprentice school which did excellent repair work. All gone since the take over !!! O.D.

Thanks for your reply & the 411 on Meopta.
Pretty cool that Ziess once made Meopta, I did not know that.
I think this is a very nice scope for the money, I'd gladly keep it if it weren't for my old eyes having a hard time seeing the fine crosshairs in anything less than bright clear sunlight. I'm sure that someone younger with good eyes would really enjoy & appreciate this scope.
