Looking to put scope on my cva accura v2 .50 caliber. I’m shooting 110 grains triple 7 powder and horndy 250 grain sst sabots. I really like the cds system Leupold has going. Who is using a cds scope on their muzzleloader? Does it work better than say the vx freedom ultimate slam s.a.b.r.e reticle?

Have never used the s.a.b.r.e reticle, but have used a similar one. Didn't care for the idea. Did like the idea of the cds dial, and bought me a 2 - 7 scope with the cds dial. Probably one of the first sold. Had a dial engraved for a load of 200g sst, and 115g Blackhorn. Worked great. Worked so good it went antelope hunting. Worked so good was able to crawl to a shot out 314 yard, and we ate goat.
No way this shooter would be able to shoot 314 yard in the field without the cds dial.
