Near the bolt handle the body is slightly too thick. At least this is what i was told. The one i got fit in my Super DISC without modding it. Sportmans also has the FPJ body and FPJ plug for the same price if you prefer the Lehigh adapter vs the bare primer bolt. Both the conversions they sell are for Mountaineers but also fit the Ulite. They use the same plug. All other DISC based rifles use a shorter breach plug.
DISC plug is on the left. The length difference is just on the powder side. So in theory anyone with a lathe could custom fit a plug for their rifle using the bare primer kit.
This is just the Knight OEM plug. Removing the braised in vent is a real PITA. Plus you would have to buy a vent. So buying a Lehigh plug makes more sense. You could do the same thing with the Lehigh Mountaineer plug IF you had the skill and lathe to do it.
