I never shot this gun but It was shot at Friendship was my understanding . Bob probably knows more of the history than I do since he knew the previous owner . Or maybe Rick knows.

It sort of looks like the forward thimble was removed to eliminate a snag potential, probably because the gun wasn't used with a rod in place.
