Ill start by saying I have been bow hunting and muzzleloader hunting since 2008 and this is my biggest buck to date...I killed a spike in 2009 and a small 7 point in 2011...I decided since it was going to be windy and snowing this morning and I could be quiet that I would do a slow walk on some public land I hunt...I was moving real slow and stopping for 5 or so min at a time and scanning the woods...It took me an hour to walk about 200-250 yards down a creek and through some hwrd woods...I daw this guy coming right at me up a small slope so I got ready and about 10 seconds later I took a 15 yard shot and he hunched up and ran over a hill and crashed about 50 yards later...I am so pumped...and also this is the first deer ive killed since switching to hornady xtp 300 grain .45 cal with crushed rib sabot and I love them ...any guess on what he may score

That's a fine buck and nice long tines! That method of hunting is by far my favorite! No idea on the score as I never shoot any big enough to bother measuring Lol.

Me either this is ny first thank you I dont really care what it scores I was juss curious ...its a trophy to me for sure

Very nice buck! Congrats on a job well done!!!

Congrats! :applause: Nice buck!

Age: just right for the grill! 3.5-4.5 :partyman:
Score: 135 something, I'm not that good at scoring so fill free to bash me if I'm way off :huh?:

Ya im not any good at scoring on looking...im gonna measure him this weekend...its just nice to finally get my hands on some nice antlers. ..I hunt hard all year as much as I can and have since 2008 so I feel I earned this one especially since all I have to hunt is public land.

:yeah:

Nice going :!: Great way to start off the season :applause:
