OK I dropped off my barrel at the PO this morning to go to Hankins but I have a question. How does one put an over powder wad evenly down the bore with a muzzle brake? Or maybe I should ask, does the brake interfere with keeping the wad flat?

Thanks Encore. I was wondering about that. I thought the loading funnel was ,just for the powder. Its nice you can start the bullet down it too.
My 45-70 barrel is on its was to Hankins for the conversion. I checked the bullet fitbin my other .45-70 just for kicks and it is a nice fit. You can see the rifling engaging the bullet. Hornady 300 gr SST.
