Some of you lads take part in primitive travel, while others like to look at the pictures or read about the venture. Either way it got your attention.

For a small group of us that grew into over three dozen members we all got hooked on what the Corp of Discovery had done. Our local Barnes and Noble hadn't sold a complete set of Lewis and Clark's Journal in years, I checked and they made us a deal on a half dozen they had sitting on the shelf. Little did they know we ordered the journals from every Barnes and Noble in about every state that had one of their stores. All of our members had their own copy at $250 a set. We studied those writing like we were being tested on the content.

Here's what the men of L&C did during their holidays when crossing the new purchased land.

If you do such things and would like to share your story and pictures please do.

Hope you enjoyed this planned trip from Ft. Morgan CO. to Ft. deChartre IL. (this was our longest trip we made), but made many 8-10 day trips following the Corp of Discovery. This took us 28 days going with the flow. The Corp did it in have the time going against the flow. This shows how things have changed with the Platte, Missouri and Mississippi Rivers now with bridges, piping and damns that all have to be portaged today.
