In a word, excellent!
A .495 ball, .015 Ox Yoke lubed patch, a .54 wool wad ( also lubed Ox Yoke) and 70 grains of Swiss 3f.
Groups ran from a little over an inch to a little over 2 ( torn patch) for 3 at 50 yards. 8 of the 10 shot fired went into 2 inches.
Ignition was FAST. Couldn't pick out the frizzen clack.
Off the bench, she is polite.
The sights are a bit challenging and she hits + 5 inches and right 2 1/4.
So. At first blush, this is a superb rifle. I'll be doing more load development, but as I get better with her, this load might prove to be a winner.
I think I'm gonna have me some fun with this one!
