My brother bought us something fun to play with.
i hammered this out some days ago and finished up the profile enough to cut it off the end of the bar and then started to file on it for some clean lines. I need to get a belt sander in order to finish it. Nothing fancy, I just want a simple skinner that is sharp. I'll grind out a tang and fix a deer antler handle to it. Not sure on blade length just yet. I will have to take my sheath out there and make adjustments so she fits nice and snug then work from there.
I don't know what the steel is but its throwing showers or bright white/yellow sparks which tells me its good hard steel.
Once shes all shaped I'll trace out a template then transfer that to plastic so I can always keep the shape to replicate it easier.
