I have a T/C New Englander barrel for sale. It started life as a 50 cal. I had Bobby Hoyt re bore to 52 cal. It's a faster twist for shooting PP bullets or Conicals. The twist is 1-36 to mimic the Sharps 50-70 govt. Bore mics at .520 has shallow rifling. Blued barrel 27" for a right hand stock. Has TC blade front sight and a Williams after market adjustable rear sight. It will drop right into your existing New Englander stock. I suppose 52 cal sabots would also be a good option. I had grand plans but alas my projects took me in another direction. The barrel is in good condition. Bore is like new. I only test fired 10 paper patched bullets through it when I first got it back. I have a .519 sizer die for PP bullets that I can include. I will say that the previous owner must have tried to mount a scope. There are 3 extra holes drilled on the top of the barrel. I put plug screws into them but still very visible. How about $125 shipped TYD. I will try and get a picture or two posted tomorrow.
