Two deer down by 8:00 am

Monday was the gun season opener in Ohio and my buddy and I each took a doe with our muzzleloaders. He shoots a Savage MLII and I shoot a Traditions Pursuit XLT. My buddy's shot was approx. 90 yds and mine was approx. 140 yds. Neither deer went more than 20 yds. We were back at the truck by 9:00 am.
