Boyds stock for Scout

I know at least ine of you has one on their Scout. I am goong to get one shortly and I knoe you have to take the locking hardware off the existing forearm. Is there mych or any inletting required for the forearm?

The forearm was a great fit no additional work needed on the one I had. Can’t say too much about the stock. Ended up with refund after a bunch of back n forth.
