I'm shooting loads for my Encore to use for whitetail hunting this fall. My hunting area will not allow shots over 100-125 yards max. most shots fall in the 50 yard range. The load that shoots best out of my .50 cal Bergara Encore barrel is 90 grains of BH209, MMP short black sabot and a Sierra 240gr. .4515" JHC (Sports Master #8820). Has anyone ever used this bullet on game? It is drop dead accurate in my gun.
