I am looking to buy myself a Christmas present, but can't locate what I want.
Does anyone know where I can buy a .58 round ball barrel to fit the T/C
Renegade? A Green Mountain replacement unit would be ideal, but I cannot locate one. Can I buy direct from Green Mountain?
Does anyone know where I can order it?
Thanks

You can buy directly from Green Mt. Probablem being they are really cutting way back on traditional barrels - just can not sell them.

There are other barrel companies that you can get barrels from - but as a drop in for for a TC that might be a little more difficult....

Maybe start with Track of the Wolf

Maybe RMC

Dixie

I'll check a couple of ather places also....

Oh just thought of a guy... he handles traditional TC ml's and parts - he bought the bult of the TC parts when they started moving out of the traditional market.

Thank you very much

Sabotloader,
I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate your feedback.
I just got off the phone with Kerry at Green Mountain. They have a run of .58 barrels in work, and one of them is now mine. They are now fitting the breech blocks, and then they go out to be blued. She said that they should be ready to ship in about 3 weeks.
It appears that it may now be my Christmas present to me after all.
She also said that after getting numerous complaints about the ramrods breaking, they are now supplying a different rod, possibly aluminum.
Thank you once again.
