.50cal Bergara Encore barrels in stock

I received this email from Mike Bellm, though I would pass along the info.


Josh has more Bergara .50 cal. Encore stainless steel muzzle loader barrels
ready for sale checked out thoroughly and given our custom "qc" treatment
regimen you do not get from production barrels.

There have been no .50 cal. Bergara muzzle loader barrels available since late
last summer, and today's retail price of the stainless barrels is $272.95.

These special purchase barrels with refinements/tuning, minus open sights, are
$249 which is an excellent buy.

They are drilled and tapped for the standard sights, or you can add your own
aftermarket sights. All barrels are drilled & tapped for any of the standard
Encore 4-screw scope bases on the market.

We prefer to install the Durasight Weaver style scope bases with an additional,
5th, screw forward of the existing holes to reduce the flex inherent in bases
that cantilever over the tapered part of the barrel...... a $49 add on option.

Or you can just get a whole muzzleloader with a Bergara barrel in the form of the Accura for the same price of $250 at Cableas . Sorry, I couldn't resist that :lol:

Ive got a SS 50cal barrel coming for my 45 Accura directly from CVA. They told me it will fit but wont guaranty it for safety reasons.

As long as i dont modify or fire it they will accept a return at my cost to ship it back if it wont.

Cost $180 vs $240+ for a complete SS and black standard stock 50cal when on sale.

Im probably getting an Apex for Christmas but i think it would be nice to have a 2 barrel set even if it costs me a bit more at a gun smith. If it all works out i plan on cutting it down to a carbine length if possible but the fluting might be an issue.
