If it wasn't in my blood I'd give up on this season. 'Yote prices ( and bobcat) in the tank. Can't even pay for my trappin' beer! 5 Nice badgers ( gave 2 smaller ones away), 14 coyotes, 2 bobcats and one really nice skunk. Wify reminded me the odds are mounting for me to make a slip on skunk skinning. I process only Coni-killed skunks that haven't sprayed. Wife has imposed a 3 skunk per year limit. Last accident was 4 years ago. I was hurring 'cause we were having a Super Bowl party at our house. Saved a lot on beer, chips N dip! I must be the only trapper on the forum as I don't see any other posting 'sides mine. I thought I read somewhere most mountain men were primarily trappers by profession ? Just sayin'................Mossie

Nice catch. I'm not even setting traps this year. I have more projects than I can handle and the market won't pay for any southern AZ. fur.

I do not trap, but sure enjoy reading your experiences. Please keep them coming.
