NULA breech plug

Does the NULA muzzleloader have a vent liner like a Savage?
If it doesn't how long does the breech plug last?
Its hard for me to believe even the hardest steel wouldn't see some erosion causing inconsistent pressures.
Tell me your experiences please.

I've never seen a Savage BP. All I know is the NULA will probably outlast me and I bet the deer I shoot with it wouldn't notice any inconsistent pressure anyway. YMMV.

No the NULA plug has a vent hole through it that seems to be the same size all the way through from the muzzle end to the point where the primer is inserted. The primer hole of course is much bigger.
