Anyone put a thinner recoil pad on a Knight Disc? It was slightly long for summer sight in, but with parka and hunting clothes it is way too long. I couldnt get on my scope wearing a stand hunter parka and it cost me a deer. I need to get down to only a .25 to .40 with a rounded edge to make it more manageable. Not finding a pre-fit that is under an inch. Any ideas or have ground your own? Of course recoil will go up, but the gun is heavier than my LK-93.

Look at some of the Pachmayr rifle pads, theyre .40 thick, and come in various sizes

check out the 500B rifle pad they have, it's .40 thick and comes in small, medium and large, and can be ground to fit, I shorten my shotguns LOP, theyre 20g upland guns, and replace the plastic butt plate with those pads from Pachmayr

Hey, ruffhunter, how did you make out finding a pad for your gun?
