Outlier fps On Chronograph?

One thing that I was warned about was to protect the chronograph from concession cause by the test gun blast. I set my chronograph on top of my shooting box under the shooting bench. This way the unit is protected from the worst hit of concussion. The Oehler Research has been very helpful with good ideas to prevent problems.
