Gave a good young buck a pass on the last day of OK deer gun season. Watched him graze a game plot for about 20 minutes at about 50 yards. It would have been like shooting a cow in the pasture. The deer on that property are not afraid of me: My scent is everywhere, including the feeder corn. We've owned that property since 2000, i've killed three or four does there. A college classmate has taken two huge bucks there, one scored over 180 B&C the other 170 something.
This is a young buck, he will be much better next year. When i saw him there were two antlers.
