Good evening guys ! Hope all is well & your powder is dry ! I’ve owned a mk 85 for 25 years but just now getting to enjoy it ! Shot my first muzzle loader buck 3 weeks ago .300 grain aero lite over 90 gr 777 w/209 ignition .
It’s a MOA shooter ! 4.5x14x50ao leuopold
I’d like to be able to take this gun to 200 yds successfully . Any load data guidance ,knowledge & wisdom is much appreciated! TIA

:welcome:

Start with a good shooting load and work the powder quantity up or down 3 -5 grains at a time until you get the accuracy you are happy with. Its a long process but each gun is an individual and this is really the only way to go about it. May want to weigh charges instead of using volume.

If you are unable to get the accuracy by changing powder charges Then you need to select another projectile and start over.
