Barnes MZ bullet taken from elk. Impressive!

Saw this picture on another forum of a 300 grain Barnes MZ expander taken from an elk at about 120 yards. Thought you guys might be interested in taking a look:

Barnes bullet on elk

I have shot 9 Deer with the 200 grain .45 Barnes bullet and internal damage and penetration were superb.

I had one 8 point spot me in a tree stand and I was able to get a shot off before he bolted. The Buck was facing me at 90 yards and the Barnes 200 gr. bullet bullet hit just to the left of the brisket. The bullet took out the top of the heart, the lungs and exited just forward of the hip.

Now that's penetration. I would have hesitated on taking that shot with any other bullet.

The Barnes would be my personal choice on Elk.
