Got some stuff yesterday and today i put 27 rounds through my Accura trying out the 100 and 150gr Super Sticks with the 245 and 270gr Powerbelts. The 245s did their normal 2" group @ 100 yards with 100gr SS - STS primers.

Had Two of the 270gr Platinums left in the house so i reloaded and took them out back to the 100 yard range. I originally had them sighted in 1 1/2" high @ 50 with 150gr SS. I used the 100gr SS on these Two shots @ 100.

To my amazement, one of the 270's blew right through my sand bucket. That sand was nasty as hell too. You can see from the pictures that is a was a good thick, nasty sandy mud set up.

New claw sling stix to help me in the field this year, and a new comfy range chair.

I forgot, those final 2 shots were with the scope. I already zeroed in the Truglo sights so i just took'em off and scoped it for now.

FG tell me about these Tru Glo sights, I was toying with the idea of taking my scope off my wolf and putting some kind of peep sight on. I hear people mention Williams and others, what are my options.
Thanks, Doug

the truglow isnt really what you'd call a peep sight. they call it a ghost sight. very simple to use. huge field of view, easy to line up and pin point accuracy. Half of the shooting today was with open sights and i shot pretty darned good at 50 yards with them.

i dont think you'd be disappointed with the truglo set up.
