White Tominator Turkey Harvest

I harvested this bird in Indiana today with my old stock brand new Tominator made for me by Marlowe Richards a few months ago. I got the gun and spent quite some time patterning with TSS loads and came up with a winner!! There were two Toms and four hens in the corn stubble field this morning and I was able to call the flock to me - I was so well hidden not one bird had a clue.

Load data:
SQUIB FIRST (20 gn powder), RWS #11 caps.

100 FFG Goex.

Two 1/8” lubed felts (wonderlube on mine).

BP12 - 4slits 1/2”, Mylar, 1/8” 20ga felt in cup.

#9 TSS 820.3gn (1 7/8oz).

15gn PSB buffer.

12ga OSC.

What a great day - the Tominator is my new favorite ML. Now off to Iowa!

I’m partial to the Vortex Venom, so that’s on my gun mounted to a Warne universal rail mount for red dots. Absolute flawless combo and the shot was 47 yards / Marlowe is going to be busy - maybe get a few DWB’s back in action!!

Thanks Jim. I have a White Thunder shotgun. It's basically the same as a tominator, but has a myrtle wood stock instead of laminate.

I found the Warne universal rail mount on Optics Planet, but not the Vortex Venom. They do have a Vortex Viper red dot. I also checked Mid Way and Amazon, same results. Vortex website doesn't list the Venom either.... I did find the Venom on Gun Broker, all most the same $$ as I paid for the Thunder.

They quit making them, but I thought there were still a few around! The Vortex defender I believe is the one that replaced the venom. Vortex is one of our sponsors, but I personally don’t use THP sponsorship for my personal stuff. So I buy the stuff that I like lol. Burris Fastfire 3/4 are excellent too.
