NEED A ROD

I like to have a good rod to pack when I hunt...It is not that my factory one will not do the job but I like have a good rod where I am not working with just enough...Some rods are so short they go all the way in the gun when not loaded...what is a good rod you suggest for a hunting rod? Thanks...

I got settled into my stand last year and happened to look and my new Power rod was not in the thimbles. I have no idea where I dropped it and have not been able to find it. Normally I will put a piece of black tape on to make sure but for whatever reason did not that day. So there I sat with ONLY one shot. I want to pick up a take down just in case I am stupid another day too...

I have ram rods made by both T/C and "Power Rod" and both work equaly well. Both made of solid aluminum. Both have built in clapsable "T" handels. Both have bulit in witness marks also.

They apear to be almost exact copies of each other.

I know allot of guys do not hunt with a ram rod, but i simply could not do it.
