I thought about doing this when I first got the gun.

refinishing the stock and rebluing or browning the barrel. talked myself out of it. now thinking about doing it again.

what yall think.

I usually don't consider refinishing unless it needs it. A few scuffs, scratches and wear marks here-n-there gives it character.
 
From the pic it looks in good shape......I agree with Marty, blemishes on a rifle are battle scars, and give the rifle it's identity......
