I need to work on a 100gr charge and see how they shoot. 120gr BH209 with that bullet has left a mark right between my eyes :!: Theres no way in hell i'd ever shoot that load off hand with a scope on the rifle, it hurts enough shooting it off of my bag.

It did group good though @ 100 yards.

The 295gr powerbelts did great too! 120gr bh209 and they grouped 7/8" center to center @ 100 yards. This powder is easily the best and most consistent ive ever shot. And the Powerbelts love it as well.

Got to reload and work with the smaller bullets!

Well that is good shooting. You could always get a scope with more eye relief. Or perhaps wear a patch over your eye and tell everyone your a Pirate. :D

Now you know about how i feel when i pull the trigger on 120gr BH209 and a 50cal Rem 385gr CLHP in a 50/54 sabot.

Mine only weighs about 6lbs though. ;)

That is some really good shooting too btw. My 45 loves the 300gr PB Plat and 100gr of BH209. Sure turns the 45 into a monster.

Oh man she loves 100gr BH209 withthe 295gr powerbelt!
1st and 2nd shots are in the same hole. Its hard to see but you can see that its slightly spread out to the left. Third shot is the lowest shot.

Are you shooting BH 209 with the stock BP in your Accura or do you have a modified BP?

Its the factory plug. No issues what so ever. If i want to use W209 primers, i was told i just have to use a #65 drill bit and it would then have the recommended .035" flash hole.

I need to back mine down to 90gr and see if it tightens up but the pretty nice group i shot was on a bore with about 30 100gr+ charges already through it.

One dry patch might have been all mine needed to get under an inch with the 45 300s.
