Scope Base for Long Range Hunter

My wife bought me the LRH Thumbhole that Cabelas had on sale. (Like I need another one) But I can?t return it because it would hurt her feelings. So, I think the scope I am looking at will have an 50mm AO Objective. Any idea on what height rings I need? I was thinking Med.

Depending on what base you have..if you are using a Warne Maxima, I'd probably go high, if using a Weaver Grand Slam, I'd probably go medium.

Yep I'd never return it either. Good luck with it, mine (that I had to buy myself ) is probably the best shooting BP gun I have. Last Sunday 4 shots inside an inch at 100 and it does it all the time, it's almost boring to shoot it
