caribou hunt

just returned from a caribou hunt in caniapiscau [northern quebec ] they are still way up north they still have lots of food and have just started comming down ..very strange this year the bulls still have velvet on they're antleres ..a lot of hunters came back with no caribou and were very disapointed ...we were 5 hunters in my groupe and we all tagged out.i have gone up 6 times and this was the first time that we had no snow on the ground also we had blackflies the first 4 days .

Looks like fun! I hate them black flies something feirce. I remember wearing long sleeve shirts hats and head bands after when high school and graduation a few of us kids ran to canada for our reward. Great trip but hem B--tar-- can bite right thru cloth!
