not sure where to post this or if it's been discussed...
...but...
does anyone have any data on what kind of accuracy folks were getting out of flintlocks- like early 1800's style?
i mean actual documents that refer to group size at a certain range, or scores from a certain size target.
I'm new to MLing, and work as a museum curator (of sorts)- so i'm curious how my knight wolverine compares to ... say an 1803 harpers ferry for accuracy.
Did they sight in with sandbags in those days?
